Great Ways to Explore North Yorkshire
Whether you’re heading out for a spot of shopping, discovering the beauty of the Dales or simply enjoying a change of scenery, our seasonal journeys make it easy to get out and about this summer. Choose from the Dales Jumper, Northallerton Shopper, Hawes Hopper and Red Squirrel Extra Journeys, each offering a convenient and friendly way to explore more of North Yorkshire aboard the Little White Bus.
Dales Jumper - Friday only
Bus Runs in the summer on a Friday. The tour bus jumps between Wensleydale and Swaledale, picking up Arkengarthdale and Tan Hill ( the Highest Pub in England). There are three options of tickets. The views are breathtaking.
– Starting at Hawes
– Starting at Reeth
– Local journeys in Arkengarthdale
Northallerton Shopper
This is a Saturday ride, picking up at all Hawes outlaying hamlets and heading off to Northallerton to shop till you drop. Be prepared to natter about what bargains you have found on the way home!
Hawes Hopper
This is a Tuesday trip to bring you to the town where The Little White Bus originates. Whether you shop, wander, have a pint in a local pub or use it to find fresh air, you’ll find that you remember why the Dales is a national Park. Remember you are higher up in a bus and the journey brings you deep into the dales. This is time for you.
Red Squirrel Extra Journeys

Booking Terms
From this page you can book and pay for any trip you like, or you can book in person at the Hawes Community Office, or by calling 01969 667400 during office hours. Please note we are unable to offer refunds if you cancel your trip, or do not show up, unless we can re-sell your place to someone else. You may send someone else in your place. Little White Bus reserves the right to cancel trips that are not commercially viable up to 48 hours before the trip is due to take place.
The Little White Bus is a community service providing scheduled travel to the residents of, and visitors to Upper Wensleydale and Swaledale in North Yorkshire.
