School Artwork Project

We are asking the younger members of our community to design artwork to go on our new buses.

School Artwork Project

The school artwork competition is now closed. We received hundreds of entries and we are so grateful to every student that took the time to send an entry in. All the entries have now been judged and we decided to put winning entries onto four of our buses. Currently, the entries are being turned into artwork and will be put onto the buses during half term in February. Watch this space for new photos of the decorated buses in the coming weeks.

“I chose this design because I like riding my bike with my dad, going on walks with my family, watching all the little lambs trotting about and admiring all the nature everywhere I look. This is what the Upper Dales means to me.”

– Alice

“I moved to Thornton Rust last year and I see the Little White Bus come past my house every day. The Upper Dales mean a lot to me as it is my new home and it is so beautiful. I see lots of people come to visit, so my picture shows what I can see from my house and the drive to school every day…the river, sheep, fields and I have seen so many rainbows which I love!”

– Pippa

“It’s a very pretty place and I feel very happy and calmed there.”

– Cicely

“The landscape is beautiful.”

– Emma

Well done to everyone!
